Image Le 22 avril 1946, se tient à Berlin, sous la présidence de Walter Ulbricht, le premier congrès du Parti socialiste unifié allemand (SED) créé la veille par Wilhelm Pieck, président du Parti communiste d'Allemagne (KPD), et Otto Grotewohl, président du Parti social-démocrate (SPD) dans la zone d'occupation soviétique.
