Recommendation of the Commission on Turkey’s progress towards accession (6 October 2004)
Texte On 6 October 2004, given that Turkey sufficiently fulfils the Copenhagen political criteria and provided that it brings into force any outstanding legislation, the European Commission recommends the opening of accession negotiations with Turkey.
