Texte In his memoirs, Baron Jean-Charles Snoy et d’Oppuers, former Secretary-General of the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affairs and former Head of the Belgian Delegation to the Intergovernmental Conference on the Common Market and Euratom, recalls the atmosphere during the signing, on 25 March 1957 in Rome, of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom).
