Research & Innovation
Research and innovation for European studies
Research and innovation are vital for the development of the CVCE.eu digital infrastructure. The University of Luxembourg adopts an integrated, interdisciplinary approach: our research and knowledge transfer activities combine methods from the humanities and social sciences with those related to digital technologies. This enables us to build up the research infrastructure on European integration and ensures its ongoing development and sustainability.
The main outputs of the work include digital publications that incorporate enhanced research data, and innovative services and tools. These resources, which are an integral part of the infrastructure, are particularly geared towards the research and teaching communities but are also accessible to a broader audience.
Our research in the fields of European integration studies and digital humanities also results in international academic publications, participation in competitive research programmes and research networks, the organisation of and participation in seminars, conferences and workshops, and the hosting of visiting researchers.
