‘The Hague Congress or “Europeans” without Europe’ from Le Drapeau Rouge (7 May 1948)
Text On 7 May 1948, the Belgian Communist daily newspaper Le Drapeau Rouge deplores the Congress of Europe taking place in The Hague, judging it to be a meeting of capitalist leaders opposed to Socialist ideas.
