‘The European Union is a victim of French populism and navel-gazing’ from La Libre Belgique (1 June 2005)
Text On 1 June 2005, in an article for the daily newspaper La Libre Belgique, Tanguy de Wilde d’Estmael, political scientist and Professor at the Catholic University of Louvain, comments on the campaign for the French referendum on the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe and criticises the fallacious nature of some of the arguments put forward by those opposed to the draft Constitution.
