Revised European Social Charter (Strasbourg, 3 May 1996)
Text The Revised European Social Charter opens for signature by the member States of the Council of Europe on 3 May 1996 and enters into force on 1 July 1999. Designed progressively to take the place of the European Social Charter, the Revised Charter includes the rights guaranteed by the Charter as amended, the rights guaranteed by the Additional Protocol of 1988 as well as new rights.
