Text In this recommendation dated 3 October 1984 relating to European cooperation, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe requests confirmation from the Committee of Ministers that the organisation’s symbols — the flag and anthem — may be used by the European Communities (see Section A: ‘On complementarity with the European Community’).
