Nuclear power plant in Chinon, Indre-et-Loire
Image In 1957, work begins on the first French nuclear power plant, Chinon A1, known as ‘La Boule’. It is commissioned in June 1963, and is followed by Chinon A2 (1965–1985) and Chinon A3 (1966–1990). The photo shows reactors I, II and III of this plant.
