'Frenchman Jacques Blanc is President of the EU Committee of the Regions' from El País (10 March 1994)
Text On 10 March 1994, the Spanish daily newspaper El País comments on the successful candidacy of the Frenchman Jacques Blanc as President of the Committee of the Regions and on the agreement reached among European political groups, resulting in the Spaniard Pasqual Maragall, as ‘candidate for the municipalities’, succeeding the ‘candidate for the regions’ after two years as President.
