Extraordinary sessions of the Chamber of Deputies (Luxembourg, 6 July and 24 July 1979)

At the extraordinary session of the Chamber of Deputies on 6 July 1979, the results of the parliamentary elections of 10 June 1979 are confirmed. The extraordinary session of the Chamber of Deputies on 24 July 1979 is held to determine the composition of the government, the standing committees and the Chamber of Deputies itself. This government is formed by the Christian Social Party and the Democratic Party. Pierre Werner serves as Prime Minister and Minister of State.
