Emmanuele Gazzo’s memories of the signing of the Rome Treaties (April 1987)
Text In April 1987, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Rome Treaties, Emmanuele Gazzo, founder and Director of Agence Europe, recalls the atmosphere prevailing at the ceremony held on 25 March 1957 at the Capitol to mark the signing of the Treaties establishing the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom).
