Text On 29 March 1979, the Secretary-General of Western European Union (WEU) circulates a draft reply by the WEU Council to Assembly Recommendation 323 on disarmament. The document incorporates several amendments made by the French and the British. Some of these amendments are included in the final reply to the Recommendation (C(79)83).
