Demonstration by farmers against the proposed reform of the CAP (Valence, 10 December 1997)
Image On 10 December 1997, following an appeal by the French National Federation of Agricultural Workers’ Trade Unions (FNSEA) and National Centre for Young Farmers (CNJA), several thousand farmers take to the streets of Valence, Drôme, to protest against the proposed reform of the common agricultural policy (CAP) included in Agenda 2000 (the ‘Santer Package’).
