Conclusions of the Vienna European Council (11 and 12 December 1998)
Text On 11 and 12 December 1998, the Vienna European Council signals its agreement for a strategy on the future development of the European Union to be known as the ‘Vienna Strategy for Europe’ and looks, in particular, at questions concerning employment and growth, the preparations for the implementation of the Amsterdam Treaty and justice and home affairs (JHA).
