Circular from the International Committee of the Movements for European Unity (September 1948)

In September 1948, Duncan Sandys, Chairman of the International Committee of the Movements for European Unity, and Joseph Retinger, Secretary of the Committee, send to European federalists a circular calling for their support for the establishment of a European Assembly, as recommended in May by the political resolution adopted at the Congress of Europe in The Hague.
