Address by Herman Van Rompuy on his re-election as President of the European Council (1 March 2012)
Text At their meeting of 1 March 2012, the Heads of State or Government of the 27 Member States of the European Union unanimously elect Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, to serve a second two-and-a-half year term from 1 June 2012 to 30 November 2014.
