In this interview, Jacques de Larosière, Governor of the Banque de France from 1987 to 1993, comments on the monthly meetings in Basel of the Governors of the Central Banks of the ‘Group of Ten', the name given to the ten countries participating in the General Agreements to Borrow (GAB).
