‘Workers’ councils regain control of the situation’ from L’Unità (5 November 1956)
Text On 5 November 1956, the Italian Communist daily newspaper L’Unità welcomes the intervention of Soviet military forces in Hungary and highlights the role played by the workers’ councils in crushing the revolt.
