Resolution on the European Parliament Opinion on the convening of the Intergovernmental Conference (13 March 1996)
Text On 13 March 1996, in anticipation of the Intergovernmental Conference (IGC) due to open in Turin on 29 March, the European Parliament adopts a resolution expressing its hope that the IGC might play a supportive role in the setting up of a true European Political Union.
