Referendum in Slovenia on the country’s accession to the European Union (Ljubljana, 23 March 2003)
Bild On 23 March 2003, following the referendum held in Slovenia on the country’s accession to NATO and the European Union, the Slovenian people vote overwhelmingly (90 %) in favour of accession to the European Union on 1 May 2004. The turnout in the referendum is 55 %.
