Memorandum on the private meeting of permanent delegates to the SAC (Paris, 12 April 1957)
Text On 11 April 1957, at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, the Standing Armaments Committee (SAC) of Western European Union (WEU) meets to discuss various questions, particularly the multilateralisation of bilateral contacts and discussions, the measures that should be taken to avoid any conflict with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) in the area of studies and research and, finally, consultations within the Finabel (France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg).
