Video In this interview, Jordi Pujol, President of Catalonia from 1980 to 2003 and President of the Assembly of European Regions from 1992 to 1996, gives his views on the implications of the Treaty of Lisbon for the global visibility of the European Union. He also describes the new centres of gravity in Europe and the significance of the Mediterranean regions with regard to neighbourhood relations, intercultural dialogue and the challenges associated with immigration and the European demographic policy.
