Text On 25 July 1950, Robert Schuman, French Foreign Minister, gives an address to the French National Assembly in which he describes at length the progress of the diplomatic negotiations on the Schuman Plan, launched on 20 June in Paris, and discusses the issues surrounding these negotiations.
