‘A seed has been sown in The Hague’ from Le Figaro (20 May 1948)
Text On 20 May 1948, in an article in the French daily newspaper Le Figaro, André François-Poncet, Diplomatic Adviser in the French Government for German Affairs, Special Adviser to the Commander-in-Chief in Germany and Member of the French delegation to the Congress of Europe in The Hague, welcomes the success of the event and expresses his determination to see the establishment of a European federation.
