‘Pierre Werner: “We are on the right tracks”’ from Le Républicain Lorrain (10 February 1971)
Text On 10 February 1971, the French daily newspaper Le Républicain Lorrain quotes Pierre Werner, Luxembourg Prime Minister and Finance Minister, who welcomes the efforts of the Council of Ministers of the European Economic Community (EEC) in Brussels toward the establishment of an economic and monetary union.
