Letter from Duncan Sandys to the Foreign Ministers of the Five (6 February 1949)

On 6 February 1949, Duncan Sandys, British Conservative MP and President of the International Executive Committee of the European Movement, sends to the Foreign Ministers of the five states signatory to the Brussels Treaty a letter in which he welcomes and comments on their decision to establish a Council of Europe consisting of a Committee of Ministers and a Consultative Assembly.
